In December 2021, Zai Chain initiated its Enclosed Mainnet phase, activating the blockchain with restricted external connectivity. This period allowed users to complete KYC verification, migrate their balances to the Mainnet, and develop applications within a secure environment. The firewall ensured a controlled setting to refine the ecosystem before transitioning to open access.

Zai Chain is preparing to transition from its Enclosed Mainnet phase to the Open Network phase, contingent upon the ecosystem's maturity and the completion of user KYC verifications.
